SIM Caribbean is excited to announce our latest collaboration with the Departamento Transporte Publico (DTP) of Aruba. As digital transformation specialists in the Caribbean, we're partnering with DTP to enhance their online presence. This collaboration will pave the way for a more connected and digitally accessible transportation system and licensing information in Aruba.

Our project focuses on developing a new, user-friendly website for DTP within the existing robust SIMsite environment of the Aruba Government. This platform offers the public uniformity and efficiency, benefiting various departments that have already onboarded and launched their own websites. While we're keeping some details under wraps for now, expect innovative features that will streamline services and elevate the user experience.

Additionally, we're proud to work alongside the Bureau Interne Diensten (BID), our current client. BID plays a vital role in the Aruban government structure, supporting various departments with their expertise in internal services. Their involvement in this project is crucial, bringing their unique insights and support to ensure the success of this digital venture.

The Departamento Transporte Publico (DTP) in Aruba, under the Ministry of Transport, Integrity, Nature, and Elderly Affairs, is responsible for overseeing about 7,785 transportation licenses including taxis, buses, car rentals, motorcycles, and tour vehicles. Based in Oranjestad, its primary function is to regulate and administer public transportation, ensuring efficient and safe services in line with modern regulations. The DTP's structure includes various departments like Policy, General Support, Inspection, and Licensing, all dedicated to enhancing Aruba's public transport system.
